We recently had the opportunity to share with the Lundy Network how we’ve applied the Lundy Model of Participation in our Think Baby project, helping practitioners capture and respond to the experiences of babies and the youngest children in our community.
Better Start believe that every baby matters and they have a voice that’s important to recognise, record and apply to shape practice.
Acknowledging the numerous and diverse range of guidance available, we aimed to consolidate best practice through inviting leaders and practitioners from around the UK to take part in a webinar and survey ‘Think Baby: Capturing the Voice of Babies in Practice’. This learning has developed the Think Baby Toolkit, launched in early February. We asked practitioners to feed back on how the toolkit is being used in practice to strengthen understanding of babies’ experiences and needs.
